Asahi Shimbun Cross Search, provided by Asahi Newspaper, includes articles and advertisements from more than 140 years of the newspaper, from its first edition in 1879 (Meiji 12) to today. The content is primarily in Japanese. In addition to full text and PDF images of pages for the Japanese publications Asahi Shimbun, Shukan Asahi, AERA, and Asahi Graph, UVic's subscription also includes:
