Description	More than ten years in the making, the EBC is the result of a broad collaboration by scholars, writers, artists, experts and interested citizens from every corner of the province. It contains more than 4,000 articles on BC places and things and hundreds of historic and colour photographs, handy statistics, maps, tables, charts and diagrams. It was published by Harbour Publishing, an award-winning independent BC book publishing company owned and operated by Howard and Mary White.
